Info. Needed! New Blick Universal typewriter in the collection.
Here is a rare Blick Universal typewriter, which is like an Adler clone. It has a thrust mechanism, and a 3 bank keyboard. The ribbon is very tall, but won't be replaced by me since the typewriter does not function. The carriage string has snapped a long time ago, and there is surface rust on the typewriter.
Anyways, I got this with a Rem-Blick with an Apothecary keyboard, a Blickensderfer No. 7, and this machine all together for $345. If you'd like to see the others, they are on my main website, www.typewriters101.weebly.com
If anyone can provide much information about it (I haven't even seen one until yesterday when I picked it up) That would be great.
Thanks.

Two New Typewriters
The following machines I got yesterday in Lancaster, PA. I was able to get the Olympia Simplex, which is in mint condition, and works great, for $65. I was able to buy the Noiseless for $50. The Remington Noiseless is really nice, and is actually rather quiet. The ribbon still prints clear. Anyways, both typewriters are real nice, and I figured it was worth sharing with you all.

New Typewriter
I got this today... $65 is all it cost me. It is a mint condition Army Green LC Smith 8 11 Secretarial typewriter. It works great, and I'll be re-threading the ribbon for use, since it has a nice touch when typing. The best thing I like about this is the condition, and the looks of this typewriter.

NEW WEBSITE.
Hello collectors. I have a new website that I'm working on. The link is www.typewriters101.weebly.com
I'm already liking the set up much more than my yola version. The subdomain is still free, and is shorter to the link. It's much faster to upload new pictures than it was on yola as well.. Keeping it the same for the most part. On my old website, I put a huge post at the top directing site traffic to my new weebly site. Hope it works out.

1894 Blickensderfer No. 5 Typewriter
Here is an 1894 Blickensderfer No. 5 typewriter that I got for Christmas. This amazing typewriter is in great shape, and still functions, although the ink ball needs ink. The Blicks did not have ribbon, but an ink ball/cylinder that inks the character right before it hits paper. You can see more about it on my official website, and on my YouTube channel: BKtypewriters101

My New Olympia SG 1 Typewriter (Senatorial Font)
I picked this up Saturday at an Antique shop nearby for only $30, which is a great deal. This SG 1 has a weird Senatorial font, which almost looks robotish. It types very smooth, and feels great to the touch. It could benefit from a new ribbon, but for now it is fine. This typewriter is massive, but Olympia used the large size wisely. There are so many features, and the carriage comes off with only 2 switches, and some strength. These bad boys are extremely heavy. We have made a dust cover for it so that when I'm not using it, it will not get dusty, since I plan on using this one quite a bit. It is very clean, and only needed a light dust off when I bought it. Overall, I am extremely happy with it!
