New Typewriter


I got this today... $65 is all it cost me. It is a mint condition Army Green LC Smith 8 11 Secretarial typewriter. It works great, and I'll be re-threading the ribbon for use, since it has a nice touch when typing. The best thing I like about this is the condition, and the looks of this typewriter.

    Weird. I saw this exact same machine at a local antique store this weekend. For $60.

    Pretty machine! the right-hand side carriage return would throw me though. How's the platen?

      The platen is decent, although it has some small, minor cracks in it.
